Hi, I'm Indianna (Indi), the owner of Studio Eighty Five. Where do I start? Let's go back to the beginning & say that I wasn't one of the typical young girls who always knew they wanted to be in the beauty industry. In fact, I was a bit of a tomboy. It wasn't until high school, when relentless bullying lead to me turning to makeup as an outlet. Something that I used to hide behind and use to change who I was, soon became a tool of empowerment and creative love. It was at this point I knew that I wanted to share the gift of using makeup to enhance and demonstrate self love, rather than change.

And so, Indianna Knight Makeup was born. I finished my studies with Melissa Sassine, specialising in bridal & event makeup, in 2019. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work on Channel 7, but more importantly, with beautiful everyday people like you and me. I fell in love with the wedding industry and continue to harbour my passions working alongside brides.

When COVID first hit Australia in March 2020, things hit quite a stand still to say the least. I created a second business, Herin Cosmetics with my partner, manufacturing & selling cosmetics. While this was an amazing experience and definitely helped survive a crazy year, it wasn't where my heart lied. To this day, our products are still sold in studio, however we no longer sell at a high volume.

So how does Studio Eighty Five fit into this? Well essentially, I was searching for something to do mid week while I wasn't at weddings, and I decided to study eyebrows and lash extensions. I made the decision to merge the two businesses (Indianna Knight Makeup & Herin Cosmetics) and well, here we are.

If you've stuck around to the end of this story, here's a little reminder that you are beautiful, worthy and empowered. I can't wait to see you in studio!
